About Me

Hi! My name is Katie, and I am the face behind Katie Degroff Knits. I have been Knitting since 2009 when my dear friend Chris taught me. I have a background in Jewelry Design that fueled my love to be creative and produce my very own knitwear Patterns. 

My eyes are always open, looking for inspiration for my next Design. I've used everything from fabric to flowerpots to draw my next color scheme or stitch pattern.  Sometimes, I'll sit down with my needles and the stitches flow into a creation of their own. 

I always invite and welcome your feedback on all of my Patterns. The greatest fulfillment I get as a Knitwear Designer is seeing others knit up my Patterns. Be sure to create Project pages on Ravelry or tag my on social media @sheltipap. 

You can purchase PDF's for my Patterns on Ravelry or Etsy. Each Pattern has been formatted to be easily read and understood. I have included Charts when applicable, or photo tutorials where needed.
