Sandy Cove is getting her very own KAL (Knit a Long)! It will take place in the Katie Degroff Knits Group on Ravelry and on Instagram with the #sandycoveKAL. 

-Kicks off August 1st and concludes September 30th. 

-Must post photos of Finished Pieces to be eligible for Prizes.

-Either Shawl or Cowl may be knit; if you choose, to make both, you will get 4 entries for Prizes!

-Any yarn may be used.

-Prizes are rolling in and will be posted on my Group. Miss Babs Yarns, Aster Fiber Co, Palmer Fiber Co., and The Golden Purls, to name a few! 

Sandy Cove was designed to use a (2) Skein + (7) Toe Skein Set from Miss Babs to make both Patterns. The approximate yarn used is listed for all Sections and Colors in both Patterns if you wish to use other yarn or more or fewer colors. Simple stitch patterns make this a great travel or TV project, and getting to each new color will keep you wanting more! The Cowl features two sizes and endless possibilities for color usage. Shawl & Cowl Patterns are sold separately. 

MATERIALS:

Miss Babs Yummy 2-Ply "Blush 4" (Main), "Torchbearer, Wild Tulip, Correa, Jonquil, Fearless, Seafoam, Keppel" (Accents)

Miss Babs has Blush 4 & Terra Maris Special Edition Kit (72) available. These are the exact colors I used in my Samples. 

(1) Size US 6 (4mm) Needles

(3) Stitch Markers (Cowl only)

Tapestry Needle, Scissors

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:

Shawl- 54" x 62" x 79" x 23" Deep

Cowl- Lightly Blocked (Large)- 9” x 22"” x 23” 

Cowl- Lightly Blocked (Small)- 9" x 19 1/2" x 22"
